Hi my name is Charles, i am not very skilled with technical stuff in computers, i'm barley an amateur, i tried to build a decent desktop, and i was doing very good, until i started to get a constant BSOD screens. I have a screenshot of the BSOD:

My Motherboard is a ASUS z87 pro
The memory units are a Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz and a PNY - 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3. The second memory came in a bundle with the mother board thats how i got it and decided to increase RAM.
Can the mix of both brands of ram memories be causing the constant crashing?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Mixing memory on the same channel is gonna give you problems. Your best bet would be to move them to different channels. These will be color-coded on your motherboard - make sure they're in DIFFERENT colored slots if the modules are different. If that still crashes, run with just one stick and buy another stick that is EXACTLY the same, then put them in the SAME colored slots.
