General Use ASUS Motherboard

I'm looking for a recommendation for a general use ASUS motherboard and Intel processor. This computer will be for my children's use primarily so it will not see heavy use as in video editing. They will use it for school work - Internet, Some graphics programs such as Photoshop Elements, Watching/Streaming Video, Word Processing, etc.

Can you specify which Intel processor? There are still several sockets in use. And will they be using integrated gfx or a discrete card?

maybe if you get an i3 or i5 with the hd4000 integrated graphics you could rig a cheap pc with a very good performance.

I am looking for the least expensive. What about Intel Core i3-3240 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz LGA 1155 55W Dual-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2500 BX80637i33240? I want to have at least Core i3. I do not need a separate video card.
