I'm asking for someone's help with building a custom Audio PC strictly for music production and nothing else. I would like to spend no more than $1,000 if I can get an effective PC but would be willing to spend up to $2,000 if it's worth it. I am not sure what the most important component is, I'm guessing it's the audio card.

I am deciding between using FL Studio or Ableton, I have access to Reason and Logic elsewhere so I just want to make sure the components suggest can run either of those programs. Again, this is strictly an audio production PC, I will not need anything special for video. Thank you so much.

if you are going to use an adobe software you may want to take advantage of cuda cores sound cards do not do anything in pcs i would get lots of hdd space good memory and a quality cpu to process all the music.
the reason why you dont need a pci sound card is that all it does is increase the db and you dont need that get a quality audio setup with a recivor and speakers and go from their Good Luck!
