Can my Windows 7 OS Key be used again once deactivated?

I don't know if this help but I have this sticker on the side panel of my computer:

Windows was already installed on the computer upon purchase, but i thought i'd ask because other labels actually identified them as being an OEM.

  1. Reinstalled on the same PC? No problem.
Install on a different PC (different motherboard)? Technically no. But MS is generally pretty lenient about allowing reactivation. You'd almost certainly have to activate via the phone robot.
  2. But as always, only one PC at a time.
  3. hmm yea i need a reinstall because it will have a new motherboard for sure. I dont suppose you could direct me to the correct phone line? I'm in UK if that makes any difference?

Try the online activation. If it fails, it should fess up a semi-local phone number.

When you install. Either it will activate, or say no, and give you the option to activate by phone.
It will put up a long string of numbers. Different than the activation key. You read them into the phone, and then it reads a long string back that you enter into the relevant boxes.

    If/when it works.....poof, you're activated.
