780 ti and PSU

How do I connect a 780 ti to a PSU?
There are 2 wires in the box, but I don't think I should use those. There's a 6 pin connector to molex and an 8 pin to molex. Should I use the wires from the PSU or these 2? What are the differences? I read things about amps the 780 ti needed and things. But I couldn't understand it.

Those are "accessories" and are not required to use. What psu do you have, exact model please?

Your PSU should have some 6+2 connectors, at least 1 6 pin and 1 6+2 pin. You don't need adapters. If your PSU does not have the proper connectors to run a 780 ti, then you need to get a new one. Don't drop $700 on a graphics card then run if off a ghetto PSU.

Generally you'll want to use the connectors that already exist on your power supply. When asking a question relating to a power supply it is best to provide the exact model you are planning to use.

Thats a pretty good PSU and it will have adequate PCIE connections, so you will not need to use the stuff included with the card.
