Hello i just bought a cooler master storm trooper with 120mm x6 and x3 140mm fans and wanted to know what kind of motherboard i should go for to support my ideas of what i want in this tower. And what kind of watts i need from a power supply i asked around some say 1200 watts and some said 900 only.

So far i wanted GTX 780 TI superclocked x2
Intel CPU i7 4770K
16Gig Ram
Motherboard = unknown
Power supply .= unknown
With windows 8.1
Mainly using it for gaming first time building my own tower sorry if my specs are weird.

There are practically no motherboard that can have that many fan headers. You should probably go with a good fan controller (placed in optical drive bay) like this one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811992005. I use it for my PC and it's great!
That will control five fans, and the other four plus the CPU cooler fan can be plugged in the motherboard. I suggest this one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131976. I have the Z77 version, very stable, and great for OCing.

As for a PSU (power supply), i suggest any reliable/stable one that supplies at least 750W like this one. No need for a 900W unless you want to do some serious overclocking...

Most modern high-end MBs today come with 4 pin sys fan headers. Those are designed for PWM 4 wire fans. If you plug a 3 wire fan into one of them, chances are the BIOS speed control won't work, and the fans will always run at full RPM.
