Hi there,

I´m facing a problem with an old mother-board ASrock 4CoreDual-SATA2 with a Core2Duo E6420 CPU on it. This cpu is VT-x capable and i always be able to change this option in AMI American Megatrends bios (able to change Enable/Disable).

One of this days and i don´t know why (thats the problem) this option became inactive or greyed out. The option is ENABLE but i can´t change it anymore. This is very weird and is driving me nuts.
Already re-flash bios several times with no results (option still greyed out).

Any ideas? What's happening?
Please help.

Thanks.

Remove the CMOS battery, or even change a new one. Yes you should be able to change.

Hi again,

Just for info and help others with same problem.

When you Power On your computer, if you hit F2 you enter bios and the option "INTEL VIRTUALIZATION TECH" will be accessible and you will be able to change it. But if you only restart your computer the option will be greyed out with your last configuration.

Cheers.
