Wanting to know if build is compatible.

Solution
I edited your build a bit, and this would be substantially more performance for your $400. Keep in mind, this is after rebates, so up front will be a few bucks more than the final $399.

Everything looks compatible, do you have an operating system already? If you dial back your PSU (which is way more than you need with that setup), you can afford to get a couple sticks of memory, instead of one (running in dual channel would be good). And maybe you could squeeze out a better graphics card too.

If you went with a single 4GB stick of memory you could save a few more bucks; and you could upgrade later to 8 with another identical stick, but you won't have dual channel for now (not sure which is of more value to you at the moment).

Cheers
