My apologies if this is the wrong forum to put this but compressed air is used to clean various components :-)
I would like to find out the optimal airflow (CFM) of a can of compressed air as I'm thinking of buying a small compressor to do the cleaning consistently and I want to at least have the same. I say optimal airflow as I know that cans will reduce the airflow with use.

I'm thinking of the type of compressor that is used with air-brushes and includes water/air separators so that water would not be blown into the PC.

Thank You

it's just not worth it really... the cans are so cheap that a full compressor to get the same results considering you'll clean with it maybe once a year just isn't worth it.

this works apparently:

it's worth it if you clean pcs and consoles for a living. the can's get way too expensive. I have one of the little couple gallon ones that works great.

about 11 psi or 69 kpa so any compressor would work fine but I wouldn't recommend blowing 50+ psi over sensitive components so I would just stick to cans
