Hi Guys,

Im have 1x4GB RAM installed. But it seems it not quite enough cuz im doing alot of gaming. So few days back i bought another 4GB stick with exactly same model, manufacturer,timing & voltage RAM stick. After a upgrade from Wins7 x86 to x64 i gave the RAMs a try. But when i put 2 sticks together the PC just wont boot. But works fine when only 1 stick were insert . Been searching for articles on9 for solution . So i wonder maybe it is because my specs dosent support 2x1600mhz RAM? Or should i get a new board? can someone please help me out? THANKS!

ps: i've already update my BIOS to the latest version.

specs:
* Asus P8H61-M LX R2.0
* intel pentium CPU G630 2.70ghz
* installed RAM 4gb

RAM: 2x KingstonDDR3 1600 mhz RMKST6N11S84/4

THANKS ALOT

Solution
if only 1 dim (either one) in slot 2 doesn't work means the slot itself is damaged.

try to vacuum out any dust from it, or with a can of compressed air to blow dust out of it.

Thx for replying .Yes. Both stick works while insert separately on slot#1, nothing works on slot#2. Probably slot's damaged?
Is thr a way to find out whether the slot is damaged or not?

Thanks. Blowing dust worked for me.
