I just bought a MSI R9 290 cuz i thought my old display card was broken , but after installing the new gpu ,same situation happened , booted and the pc beeped , nothing appears on the monitor and after a short while it shut down itself.

Here's the detail of my pc:
CPU :I7 3770

Ram: Kingston 4Gb X2

PSU: ANTEC ECO 620w

GPU: Current: msi R9 290 , precede: msi R6870 HAWK

CaseFans X3

Hdd x2

Thats all.

So back to the question , is a 620w PSU enough to power a R9 290 with all those stuffs in my pc?

Don't worry shinchan. As stated, a 550W will run your system, provided that it is working. Get an XFX, Rosewill Capstone, or SeaSonic 550W PSU. The Rosewill Capstone 550W is $70 on newegg and a SeaSonic S12G 550W is $75 and both are 'gold +' rated.

Uhm?

Total system consumption on the high end :

WITH an overclocked system.
