Hello all,

I don't live in the states, so everything I need will be either from local vendor or shipping from the states ( because local vendor doesn't have the latest hardware yet ).

So I want a fully AMD-ed desktop, because its cheaper that way.

I'm eyeing on the latest msi Mobo ( A88x / A88XM ) and the latest A10-7850K. Then 12gb ram , ssd, hdd.

I'm mainly using it for gaming, some coding, some model design, some video editing.

I don't intend to overclock it yet, as I don't find any purpose of it as of now.

As I'm using an APU, there's no need of a GPU for now, but in the future, if I add another GPU, will it be strong enough to stay in the competition? I intend to invest in this big baby, hopefully it'll last me at least 5 years ( I'll need to throw in a GPU between the 5 years ).

Please kindly quote me a price of each, and also, when do you think it'll be cheaper for me to order and ship from US? Maybe blackfriday or cybermonday deal?

Thanks man.

Well... that escalated quickly.

Thanks for your swift response.

But I was hoping for more advice.

You listed the board CPU and ram, for your work I would not go APU since they are low end CPU's and ram I would go with 2 x 8GB kit on the ram. Biggest problem is getting a retailer in the US to ship abroad, best chance is probably Amazon.

Get your other servants to do it. :)

It seems like you are quite used to not lifting a finger, why are you going so cheap? I couldn't not call my self an enthusiast if I pretended to approve of your crappy parts list. A-- whatever series processors never place more than last on the 'best gaming CPU for the money' lists for a reason. They aren't great CPUs, but instead they are cheap chips designed for average desktops that don't want to have to buy a GPU for light gaming.

This is not a gaming PC, or a fast work machine. It's a decent consumer grade desk top for a home office, plus way too much ram and expense. Don't call it a gaming Computer if you're not going for a fast CPU and graphics card.

another mistake* is picking a cheap CPU and then going for the latest motherboard? wat?
