Hello guys, I have been following a lot of posts lately and I need you to rate my system. I am going to build this pc this summer and its sole purpose is for gaming. I do not plan to overclock, and I will be gaming in 1920x1080 resolution.

Processor: Intel 4670 (non-k since I am not going to overclock)
Motherboard: Asus H87-Plus (not z87 since I am not going to overclock)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz 2x4GB
Graphics Card: Sapphire Toxic R9 280x
PSU: Corsair HX850 (I may crossfire in the future, if you think crossfire is unnecessary, what should I downgrade my psu to?
Case: Corsair Carbide 300R
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB
SSD: ???
I am planning to use my current optical drive.

Thanks in advance for all your help

Solution
looks great, I think crossfire is useful, but that card will last you a while on its own. By the time you notice a speed decrease you will probably be looking at a newer card so i would downgrade your PSU to a 500w
if you want crossfire you need a Z87 board. H87 has just a 4 lane secondary pci ex 16 port. it says it's crossfire ready but it causes a ton of problems usually.

any ssd around 250gb should be good as a system drive, for example samsung 840 evo

even if you dont crossfire a 850W psu is always good to have. better to have a too big one than a not powerful enough one

Thanks for the SSD suggestion. It seems just too much money to upgrade my mobo then add a graphics card just for a "probable" crossfire. So, I think I'll stick to a single GPU setup then when the time comes replace the r9.
