Please read carefully this may seem confusing.
I've got 2 wireless USB's for my Wifi,
I've also got 2 computer in my room.
On my gaming computer when I use my Linksys USB WiFi adapter my internet speed drops randomly down to like 2mbps
When I use my Dell WiFi USB my speeds stays consistant at 48-54 mbps
BUT HERE'S THE THING. This is only on my gaming computer.
On my other computer They both work 48-54 consistently!
Same OS, I've tried ALL USB ports etc. Why can't I use the Linksys on this computer?
HERES WHY I CAN'T USE THE DELL ONE
The Dell one hasn't been supported since Windows XP so I had to force the driver on Windows 7 which was fine. But as of last night I upgraded to Windows 8 and for some reason the driver won't work on Windows 8 no matter what I do.
The Dell is a 1450 wireless USB, The Linksys is a Linksys Cisco WUSB100 ver.2 (Rangeplus)
If it helps my motherboard is a Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 rev 3.0 (Idk if it has a network control built in or somehting)
PLEASE HELP I don't want to go back to Windows 7 again cause of some driver issue.
