Hi, this is my first time building a desktop, after some days of considering. I have placed together the build below. My main use is gaming, wow, bf4, fps and graphic work.

I chose a better GPU and a H87 motherboard. I'm not going for SLI, and overclocking.

Im not sure if i need a cooler, but decided to have it anyway. better cool than burn?

Im worried on the compatibility of the different parts. and ive never piece a desktop from scratch.

Would like to know what i sud do after piecing everything together.

Cheers!

I have a very similar build, but with a 4670k instead of the i7 (same power draw) and haven't passed 315w. The minimum power requirements are all horribly overstated. A quality 750w would be able to run a pair of 760s in SLI lol

The key to a good PSU is quality, not quantity.

Im not sure how much power is sufficient. would 550-650 be enough? I plan to include a Samsung SSD 840 EVO to run the OS. And wrapped everything in the Cooler Master N300 M-ATX.
