I'm currently in the process of my build and have several parts, namely the mobo, CPU and GPU.
I've limited cash and I'm looking at PSUs.
My build is:

AMD FX-6300
MSI R9 270
Asus M5A97 R 2.0
Corsair LP Vengeance 4GB

I was looking at the XFX Core Edition 450W and it's right in my price range. The suggested wattage on my GPU is 500W though, I've heard that XFX make good quality PSUs and I might be able to get away with it, is this true?

The 270x needs 24A and that particular PSU throws 34A on the 12V rail so you will be able to use it.
