Assalam O Alaikum (Peace On You) People!! I recently bought a Nvidia GT 630 Graphic card but I'm experiencing lag while playing games.. the requirements are not the problem.. P.S I am not sure whether it's overheating or not because the temperature of my GPU while playing games is 60-67 and without playing games it stays up to 40.Which I am pretty sure is not bad .though the GPU gets really hot while playing games and the fan gets loud (Not very loud). I've already got the latest drivers Installed! So I want someone to tell me the solution to it As soon as possible! Thank You!

Good afternoon sir!

Can I ask what games you are trying to run and experiencing slowness in? Also at what graphics settings (mainly your resolution, but other details are always good!) are you running at?

Plain and simple, I don't think your graphics card (The Geforce 630) is up to the job of playing games well, it's a very low tier card and definitely not well suited for games. If anything, I would recommend upgrading to something a bit more powerful.

Thank You for quick replies.. MY SPECS: Core 2 Duo E8400 2 GB Ram GT 630 2 GB Windows 7 32 Bit.. Motherbood Intel DG33bu! and 160 Gb hard disk!! I am not a Hardcore gamer I am Just trying to play GTA IV,FIFA 14,DIRT 3, And I play at the Resolution 1024x768 And i know this graphic card is not best for gaming.. before this I had 9600 gt and I wasn't facing any problems with that!! And can you tell me how much an Air cooler is Important? because while playing games my GPU gets really hot.. I'm afraid it would Damage the card..

I Played GTA IV at high settings, it was lagging and then at low very low.. like VERY! but still it was lagging.. even though the requirements almost meet my specs yet it lags!! now this doesn't have something to do with the graphic card.

I didn't upgrade it.. my previous card was dead that's why I had to buy a new one.. and they are not available in the shops nowadays because they're old.. and buying a used graphic card was risky that's why I had to buy this one!

yeah look at the second number when trying to judge these things . 630 is 6__ series, they make a 610, 620, 630, 650, 660, 670 etc. the second number indicates the strength of the card in its series. 630 is obviously low end. looks at the 9____ series is older, but the 600 in 9600 indicates its a more powerful card in its series, you shouldve done some research first!

the 9000 series came out 5 years ago.. which is long time ago.. and they are not available in the market nowadays.. so how am gonna buy them when they are not even available!! yeah i could have bought a used card but it was risky!! what if I get back home and it gets dead in a few days? In today's cruel world no one will say " Here give me back I'll take it and give your money back to you" that's why I had to buy this one! and before buying this card I knew it is not good for gaming but like I said before I couldn't afford any better than this.. now I am thinking to take the risk and buy a 9800 GTX which costs me only 9000 or 8500 last time I checked!

Even if the 9600 GT failed, u should have bought a card that is better than the 9600 GT

Now u should be looking at these cards
HD 7770 , R7 260 >
HD 7750 (GDDR5) , R7 250 (GDDR5) >
HD 7750 (DDR3) , R7 250 (DDR3) >
HD 6670 (GDDR5) , HD 7730 (GDDR5) >
HD 6570 (GDDR5) >
HD 6570 (DDR3), HD 6670 (DDR3), HD 7730 (DDR3), R7 240

Unfortunately Nvidia does not offer value at entry level cards
