I compared a build on partspicker to an identical build on cyberpower and cyberpower came in 70$ cheaper after 5% off coupon. I found this to be very, very surpising. Am I missing something?

No. They do a good job too. They can buy parts in bulk, so they can get deals from the parts manufacturers that you or I can't get from retailers. Also, when I ordered from them, they included the boxes for the individual components in the box the system shipped in. I imagine that means each part is warranted on its own outside of CPs own 3-year or whatever. I was able to register each component with the parts manufacturers individually. That was five years ago so I'm not sure if they still do the same thing.

The only thing I didn't like when I ordered from them is you don't get to pick the make/model of standard HDD. Otherwise, they are a great company.

The PSU is MUCH better than the CX series, there is no performance difference in RAM, case is personal preference, Blu-Ray requires paid software to download, and the 770 is MUCH better than the 270x. Not sure where you got any of that information at all.

Edit: Just to add, I have no problem whatsoever with CyberPower, but you can ALWAYS get a better deal building yourself.
