Im having trouble with this . . Im trying to help my friend building his rig. . there's no problem until i found out about this Seasonic s12ii 620w have ATX 12v (4Pin) and EPS12v (8 pins) this is his motherboard http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/A55M-DGS/ . . Im just wondering which pin should i use. . and what is the difference between the two? Im just worried i could fry his board when i put the wrong pins. . I hope you guys could help me thanks in advance

Solution
the 8 pin EPS connector is just two 4 pin connector strapped together. You can use the 4 pin atx connector since your board only takes 4 pins and you have one. Most PSUs opted for the split 8 pins rather than having a 4 pin and an 8 pin, but for a 4 pin board it makes no difference which you use.
You use half of the (4+4)-pin ATX12V/EPS12V connector. Make sure that the latch on the connector from the PSU is oriented with the catch on the motherboard's CPU power connector. The left half in this image will be keyed to exactly match the motherboard's 4-pin CPU power connector. The right half will also fit because the D-shape will fit into a square.
