Help with a new gaming PC buld - Under $1300

Hey all,

I know absolutely nothing about computers parts but I've been reading up and watching a few DIY videos online and I think i could handle the building process. I just need some help picking out the parts. I plan on using this rig mostly for gaming . If any of you guys could help id greatly appreciate it.

Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP

Budget Range: Under 1300, could maybe go higher to 1500 depending of performance of parts

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing the interwebs

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes. Windows

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, pcpartpicker.com, amazon

Parts Preferences: No preferences, whatever gives the best performance

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire:I have no idea what these mean

Your Monitor Resolution: Was planning on buying a monitor but I do have a 60 inch 1080p samsung tv. would it be ok the connect my pc to that?

Additional Comments: I want it to run quiet. No red LED lights in the case

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I want to run Skyrim(with mods), Star Wars: The Old Republic, Diablo 3, Torchlight 2, and a few upcoming games like Wildstar and The Elder Scrolls Online at max settings if possible

SLI/Crossfire is using 2 or more grpahics cards.
I would say go for a AMD FX 6300 and a AMD R9 280x if you can

Love the build but I just don't know about the look of the case. are there any other options?

Sure, there are lots of options. It's hard to recommend cases because people have such different taste. What would you be looking for in a case?

That looks like a nice case. I've never used it personally, but it should work just fine with the rest of the components.
