Best cooler for i7 4770?

Hey

I will not overclock my cpu, don't want the extra power consumption and to pay more monet for exlectricity. Or is it worth to overclock?

The custom cooler, I'd never use that! So noisy and they get hot.

212+ evo is a good one, but I'm a bit afraid of instaling it ( don't want to mess something ) ( very beginner :( )
What's would be the best custom cooler?

If you want a K CPU then you also need a Z87 motherboard.

As for the i7 4770 non-K a Coolermaster TX3 would be sufficient and you wouldn't need to add a backplate to the motherboard. It's a very easy installation.

I know that, but I really want a custom cooler ( just hate stock ones ), or should i get a K one and OC it just a bit? Hope the power consumption won't go that high :/

Oh, looks good :) and very simple to install.

Besides that!
Would that make a big difference if I'd take a H87 / Z87 or other x*87s?

Because you can't overclock, (is your i7 a k model with the unlocked multiplier?) there's really no reason to upgrade the cooler unless you want something whisper quiet. The stock Intel cooler is actually pretty good for the stock frequency (not to mention free). It does get noisy if you really load it up, but not obnoxiously in my opinion. If you want to get good cooling with room for eventual overclocking, then the Hyper 212 is a good choice. Probably the best bang for your buck cooling solution out there. The downside is the size of the thing. It's not hard to install either. If your case has a cut out in the back under behind the motherboard (most enthusiast cases do), it's pretty simple. If your case doesn't have the cut out, then you'd need to remove the motherboard from the case- which is a pain. It's hard to mess it up. Check out Youtube for install videos.

Yeah I will have a hole, will get define R4. But I'll stick with the TX3, will use the CPU on max a lot ( rendering videos ) so I don't want that noise :/

Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat Transparent Side Panel Mid Tower Cabinet
Intel 3.5 GHz LGA1150 4770K i7 4th Generation Processor
Asus Z87 Pro Motherboard
Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU
Corsair 1600 MHZ 4x4 GB RAM
2 TB Seagate HDD


I may or may not overclock, can I buy "Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO Cooler" for this setup.
Is this the cooler would do the job?

Depending on how much you want to overclock you'll need a cooler that will accommodate that. Most all aftermarket coolers will be better than the boxed Intel cooler. The Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO is a good cooler, affordable. The main thing when choosing a cooler is making sure it will fit in your case with all your accessories. Check the dimensions on the TX3, but I think it's 136 mm high, 93mm wide, and 79 or 80 mm deep with the fan.
