How do you mean 'crash'?

I'm guessing you mean a physical restart, or a physical shut down without warning.

This points to Power.
There could be a few things going on here.

1 - Your PSU is not powerful enough to supply enough current to your components.
2 - The power supply to your house is not stable enough to be able to run your computer.
3 - Your motherboard pins where it meets your PSU connectors are loose/too small

What situation does it crash?
Does it crash exclusively while gaming/doing something intensive on your machine? If so, this is a classic issue 1. You need a higher rated Power supply. Look for minimum 400W bronze standard.

If your pc restarts for no particular reason, whether it's 15 seconds into a boot, or 3 hours later then you may have issue 3 or 2.

When you have your lights on the house do you notice if they ever 'go dim' around the same time as your computer crashes? This is called a brownout- you need to call an electrician to your house (note when the lights go dim as you may find this coincides with other energy usage around the house - like someone turning a heater on.

If you've never ever noticed your lights dimming then it's doubtful it's issue 2 so this leaves issue 3.

This was my situation - my machine would randomly shutdown/restart itself.

I normally fix my own shit, but in this instance I tried everything (including a new PSU) and it still restarted.

What they figured were gigabyte were some cheap shitheads and made the pins on my motherboard too small for the plugs in the ATX connector to properly maintain a decent connection. So if these were bumped or just randomly would lose connection for a split microsecond and cause my machine to reboot.

What I did was push a very small screw driver down the edge of my ATX plugs (both the 26 pin long one, and the 4 pin which connected up by my CPU) and on average decreased the plug sizes by around a half by squeezing them together. This obviously made the plug a lot tighter to fit to my motherboard, but i haven't had any issues since!

Hope this helps man, let me know how it goes.
