I have a new Windows 7 system where the OS is stored on an SSD, does the OS optimize trim as in Windows 8.1 or will I need to install one? Also should I turn of the native Defrag program to prevent it from defragging the SSD or does Windows know the difference and ignore that particular drive whilst still defragging my mechanical drives?
