I am in the process of selling my current 670s. I already sold one of them. I am going to post the other one for sale when I get back from vacation. So I have to order a replacement card soon.

I think I am going to go with the Gigabyte 780 ghz edition. It seems like the best all around card for the money. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
I was very happy with my Gigabyte 670s so I am leaning towards them again.

Is it worth it to spend @170 more for the Ti OC version? Or even more for the Ti GHZ edition?

I read a few posts about the Ti GHZ edtion crashing at stock clocks and needed to be down clocked to be stable. I don't know if that is a common issue with that card but I wouldn't be surprised since it is the fastest stock Ti card available.

The 780ti is pure performance, not value. The 780 is a better value card for what you get. Unless you are running ultra high res the 780 will be fine for you.

I am leaning towards the 780. Seems like you don't get that much more performance with the ti for $170.

You don't, as you go up in performance you lose value. There's like a 10% increase at most in performance between the 2.

Would you agree the jump from a 770 4gb card to the 780 Gigabyte GHZ edition is worth the expense? I feel like it is.

I had 670s in SLI that ran at 1202 mhz. A single 770 would be a big step backwards from the 670 sli setup. Even the 780 is going to be a small step backwards but I decided now was a good time to sell them.

I am currently using a 1920x1200 monitor with no intentions of upgrading anytime soon.

Go with the 780, it will max out games on your monitor for 3 years at least, probably more.

I ended up getting a EVGA GTX 780 Classified. I haven't tested it yet but it appears to be one of the best 780s available according to all the reviews I've read.

I can support this claim. I had a ghz and nothing but crashes. I got to swap for the extremelly similar OC version of the same card and it is completely stable.
