DDR3 Laptop/Desktop Question !

Hello Everyone,

I have a laptop, Dell XPS L702X, Maybe like 9 months ago, I upgraded the RAM to 10 Gbs. I Recently built my new PC in January and since they both use DDR3, Could I take like 5gbs of RAM from my laptop and put some extra in my desktop?
