Okay so I recently bought a Hyper 212 Evo to overclock my CPU. I have been reading about overclocking and I cant wrap it around my head for some reason, seems a little to complicated for me so I did a slight overclock to my 3570k @ 4Ghz stock voltage. How can I tell if my OC saved or is actually working I took some screenshots of my BIOS to see if everything looks fine. I also did a 24 hour Prime95 test and it never went over 62c. Just a little bit of info :)

Open Hardware Monitor is a good program for monitoring temps, clock rate, CPU load, etc. If you're overclocking in the BIOS, make sure there's no software overclock interfering with it. I would also recommend using a different stress test, like passmark burn in test. P95 isn't a reliable test.

You can download CPU-Z. It will tell you in real time what GHz your CPU is running at. I open prime95 and turn on 1 worker and open CPU-z and it says I am running at 4000MHZ which is my 4GHz OC. Here is the website → CLICK ME!
