My DataTraveler no longer works, I tested it with many pcs but still not detected by any. I have important data, how could I recover it. Please help me.

You shouldn't put important data on a pen drive if it isn't already backed up somewhere else, since pen drives are not reliable devices at all, far from it.

You can't recover the data from it if no computer will recognise it. It's a hard way to learn the lesson about keeping backups.

That all depends on what you mean by "can't detect".

If you did not format or write to the drive there is the potential for recovery using file recovery software. When formatted FAT32, USB drives often lose their file system very easily when they are removed quickly without unmounting (ejecting) them.

If by can't detect you mean the drive shows up as an "Unknown USB device" in Windows, then your device's firmware has somehow been corrupted and you have bigger problems.

It can also happen that if you carry a USB drive around in your pocket, it gets more dust than usual on the pins. Try cleaning the pins with an old toothbrush and see if that helps.

Maybe there are just currupt pins in USB connector. I have experienced this issue with many Kensington DTSE9 keys. On some computers they do appear, on some they do not and sometimes they are unrecognized even on those where they previously worked. I do not know what exactly causes the problem. I think it is a mistake in the key design.

The fix is easy. It is about finding the accurate position for the key within USB slot. The key should not be inserted in full. You should pull it back by approx. 3 mm. And wait some seconds whether it shows up on the desktop. This way I can open Kensington DTSE9 on almost any PC around.
