Purely Random FPS Drop in Skyrim.

For example. The scene at the start where the big mouth stormcloak is beheaded. That scene can run absolutely fine at 100+ FPS one moment and drop down to 22-28 FPS another time. Usually the GPU usage shown in "Skyrim Performance Manager" drops and recovers at the same time. Happens weither the game is in vanilla or heavily modded.

Temperatures seem fine. GPU never goes much beyond 60c.

My Specs:
AMD FX6300 Black Edition
A960D+ BIOSTAR Mobo
4GB DDR3 1600mhz
ASUS Radeon HD 7770 2GB GDDR3
320GB Maxtor HDD 72000 RPM

I've been at this all day every day for over a week now trying to get this to stop. Tried just about everything, even prayed! Trued unparking cores. Tried to get Skyrim to use more cores, tried it on lowest settings, tried GameBooster, cleaned inside the case and the fans... I'm absolutely stuck.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated. I have a couple $ in my PayPal. Whoever finds the right fix can have it :)

Try a file check on the game (option from steam), also try reinstalling the game. Did you have problems with any other games? Does your graphics card get any artifacts during graphics benchmarks?

Welcome to The bethesda engine :D.

Unfortunatelly their games Suffer from this quite often.

Not sure if its poor PC otimization or something similar but a lot of people have ben trying to fix that in Fallout 3 already and its been clear that no fix out there always works.

You should probably look at the Nexus forums, as for you the fixes might actually work.

Are you by chance OCing your CPU via a heavy BUS increase? If so, try using the CPU multiplier more instead. If that or adding a mini fan to the NB doesn't cool things some, you may want to check the NB HS contact and maybe even reapply the TIM.
