Seeing you have an unknowns Foxcon, I can't really say which one will bring you better results. The Q6600 was a legendary OC chip, but the Q8300 has a higher FSB and may be potentially better, since it draws less power and being 95W(as opposed to the 105 Q6600), we have no idea how long your Foxxcon is going to survive it.

On the GPU side of things, an AMD HD 7750 or HD7770 might be right for you. Since it really depends on price and location, in West Europe a R9 260 (non X) is the same price as a 7770 (105 Euro for the Asus model) and is a bit better performer overall. While in UK I found that the R9 260X has the same price as a 7770.

I still have a Core 2 Duo E8400 (overclocked to 4.4GHz) that is used as a backup gaming rig and for older games. It is nowhere near as powerful as my i5 2500k running at 4.8GHz, but the LGA775 chipset still has some life in it and should be able to play most of the newer games at medium settings. As for the video card you reference, did you mean an AMD 7750? It's a two year old low-end card. If you can swing a few more bones, I'd recommend the AMD R7-260 if you are an AMD guy (I'm an Nvidia guy). It's a new card, and while low end, WAY better than the old 7750. Good luck!

The 260X will be a better performer.

At the nVidia route, your options is a 650Ti which trades blows with the 7770 but it is generally weaker than the R9 260x.

But if you want to go cheaper then the 90 pounds - then AMD 7750 is your bet:

Or a cheaper 7770:

PS. Definitely this parts can be found somewhere cheaper.
