Is my power supply causing random hard shutdowns?

I have been having a problem with my machine shutting down by itself as if the power cable had been tugged from the wall. It won't power back on until the power supply has been unplugged and plugged back in again.

My setup is as follows:
Inside a Cooler Master HAF Case With 3 130mm Fans and one 120 Fan
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard
AMD FX-8350 under a Hyper 212 Evo Cooler
Radeon HD6670 1GB
16 GB DDR3 RAM
2 SATA Platter Drives
1 SSD
1 DVDRW Drive
700 W Power Supply

I believe it's the power supply as it's the oldest component and it's been through 3 machines already. The problem almost completely (but not entirely) dissapears if I disconnect the DVD drive. But I'm not sure so I'm reaching to the more experienced community at large for a little verification/ideas. I'm not overclocking and I do play plenty of demanding games though that doesn't seem to trigger the problem. Temps are CPU 30 C Idle/ 45 C Heavy gaming so I can't see it being a thermal shutdown.

Solution
not only is that a unknown PSU brand but it came with your case? I think it's safe to say it's the PSU at fault. PSU's that come with any case is 9 times out of 10, unreliable and faulty.

Thanks, that's what I thought too. I'm planning on replacing it with a Corsair TX850M pretty soon.
