Haswell went over my budget and I have heard it is not as good as the 3570k for overclocking. I also don't feel like waiting for another check in order to get the haswell. I already have the 3570k anyway. Oh well, I am not too worried about getting haswell anyway.

Already have two, they're leftovers from my last build (see my signature). I just hope they work because people on NewEgg complained about the ram compatibility.

Yeah, I may overclock my ram in the future. But earlier I was responding the guy who asked why I was going IB over Haswell, and I mentioned something about the CPU overclocking. Thanks for the response. I just wanted to double check before ordering this MB.

What cooling do you use? And do you think this a good motherboard to order/use? I ask this because a lot of people I talk to say they've never heard of ASrock, haha. I was going to get the Gigabyte equivalent but it was out of stock on NewEgg (GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H).

No that's a lousy mobo ... LOL .... that's what I've got, picked it up initially because I could get it prior to the release and same with my 3570K, to be honest, I figured I would trade it out for a ROG mobo (my plans anyway), even after building numerous ROG 1155s, never saw a need to go away from the EX4, it turned out (and is) the best selling 1155 IB mobo out there and is the best rated....

Haha, you do not like that Gigabyte? Weird I saw it pop up a few times. Well, I have just ordered the Extreme 4 on Friday and hoped I did not waste my $130. Thanks for the reply.

Gigabyte? If referring to my mention of the ROG, that's the Asus Republic Of Gamers mobos, was originally figuring I'd get one of theirs, (and I love their mobos) but never found a need, I did builds with their various ROG mobos using P67, Z68 and the Z77 chipsets and the Rock's EX 4 for my purposes was equal to or better so never bought one

Nah, I thought you were calling the Gigabyte a lousy motherboard. I was a little worried because I just bought the ASROCK Extreme 4 after people said my RAM could work with it. I plan to overclock once I get the Noctua cooler.

Sounds good. MSI isn't bad either. I got an ASRock Extreme 4 today for my I5. Hope it goes well after I put it together.

Okay, I put it in yesterday. I love it! The motherboard works great, and I love how it has a lot of options to it. A lot better than my previous motherboard. Not only that, but the i5 3570k is amazing. Immediately I see better performance. Faster boot times, applications load faster, games load and run faster. Overall, I am impressed. The motherboard is fairly easy to use after a couple minutes exploring its Bios. I am glad I got these parts, worth the money. Even though I do not have an aftermarket cooler (I plan to get the Noctua NH-D14), I am happy with my purchase. The performance is amazing. So yes, all in all it went well.
