Solution
distilled water is non conductive, all fluids will gain conductivity over time though,

distilled water and something like kill a coil or the silver plug will keep everything clean, the pre mixes generally have algaecides in them so a coil isnt needed
that pump doesnt look bad at all for the price but who knows how reliable it is.

I would also grab 20 feet and play it safe. generally colored tubing with distilled is best vs clear with dye, I run dye and it stains your res and tubing .

yea dye wont hurt its just a pain when its time to clean and over time you will want to change your tubing. i run food coloring in my loop haha.
