Hi, I have a Radeon HD 7870 (full specs down below) and after upgrading to the Catalyst 14.1 beta drivers I noticed something odd. The graphics card has 2 different modes, low performance and high performance. Low performance is used on desktop and videos. It used to be 300mhz core clock and 150mhz memory clock. Now it says 150mhz core clock and 150mhz memory clock and every since I noticed this, online videos would get really messed up. I found a video showing my issue here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m4av17SYNk
I tried going back to Catalyst 13.12 and it still didn't work. Games work fine in high performance mode. What can I do?

My full specs:
AMD FX-8320 8 core 3.5ghz
Corsair Vengeance Pro 32gb 1866mhz
Corsair TX750W 750 watt
AMD Radeon 7870 2gb GDDR5 Ghz Edition
Biostar TA970
Toshiba 1tb HDD and two SeaGate 3tb HDD's
Rosewill Armor Evo Gaming Case
Asus Xonar 7.1

That should be more then enough, right?
Thanks!

14.1 is the newest driver. I have done a complete uninstall and everything, and getting from a new source probably won't change much, as it is the same file.

Well if you are getting artifacts regardless I would say the card was bad but if it was working before you updated the drivers than that is suspicious. You say the card works fine when it's set to high performance?

Yes, high performance mode works just fine, even with an overclock. (I still get the video with or without overclock). I have never noticed before 14.1 though.
