Can't extend my drive back to 3TB

Hey everyone, I have a 3TB Seagate Backup Plus drive that I had partitioned into two 1.5TB drives. I wanted to recombine them into a full 3TB drive, but Disk Management won't let me do so. The option is grayed out. The drive is GPT so I know it can support the full size. Does anyone know why I cannot extend one to combine them? I am fairly new at partitioning so my apologies if this is an easy solution.

You can only extend or shrink partitions if they are setup as a dynamic disk, if not the only option that i know of would be to delete both partitions and recreate the single large partition.

There are programs out there that might be able to combine both partitions for you, i how ever have no experience with them, someone else may be able to help with that.
