i have an acer pc and it won't let me log in what can i do

when i try to log in i get the error message that the user profile service failed to login.User profile cannot be loaded.

You might want to take a look at this - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215 - from Microsoft. It addresses the issue and give a couple of different options for trying to resolve the issue.
