I have just reformatted my computer, although prior to this I have had my ATI Radeon HD 5570 stop responding and havehad the screen flicker, then everything was fine. It has been a long while since I had checked for driver updates, but since I have just reformatted I'd assume I would need to update them again. On the first attempt I was installing CCC, and everything that comes with it, the screen flickers, and my PC restarts. I thought ok, I don't know whats happening here so I will try it again. This time it says it was installed successfully, but left my screen in a lower resolution, and I couldn't put it any higher. I then realized that it wasn't installed successfully at all, and there was currently no driver in use at all, it was running as if it was in safe mode. Error 52 Windows can not verify the digital signature. I have tried a lot of different steps and procedures to update the drivers; manually, uninstalling the old ones completely, reinstalling without CCC, etc. I'm not the best person with computers, but I think Ive come to the conclusion that it has finally (or is in the process) of kicking the bucket. Its about 4-5 years old now after many hours of use a day it's starting to fail. Just wanted to make sure there isn't anything obvious that I have missed, and some reassurance.
