Hello, I'm shopping around for a new desktop. I have about $1000 to spend, I'm considering this:

with upgrading the gpu to Radeon R9 270x, adding a 120g Samsung Evo SSD, and a couple other minor upgrades, the total would be about my price range.

If I build basically that same computer on my own, I come up with this:

Add another $100 for the Operating System.

I'm new to computer building, so my question to you is whether its more worthwhile to go with CyberPower? Or is it more beneficial to build my own?

CPU cooler: The Noctua cooler is very quiet. And will allow you to overclock the 8350 a little more so. Could also get this, its one of the best:

CPU: FYI, when you overclock the fx-83xx CPUs they perform within 0.1GHz of each other. I highly suggest you get a fx-8320 and put more money into cooling. This will definitely give you better performance.
The M5A99FX PRO is decent too. EVO seems to perform the same from what I've seen.
Case: I'm not a fan of that Antec case. It's decent, but very old. The R4 case is designed for quietness which I find great in high end builds. Also, you could look at the NZXT Phantom 410 which might be similar to the...
This will give you a great overclock. And max out games cuz of 770. To keep it in budget the SSD was dropped.

Thanks for the response. A few questions:

Is the Noctua cpu cooler worth $30 more than the Cooler Master?

I like the design of the Antec 900 case more. What are your reasons for the Fractal Design?

Is the FX-8350 worth the extra $40 over the FX-8320?

After doing some more looking around, here's my updated build:

Thoughts?

With the OS, it will come to about $1150. A bit more than I planned, but not out of reach.

PSU: The CX is not as good as the Antec HCG PSU. Why? Quality of components. http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx
