My system restarts frequently. I re-installed my windows but no change. So I thought I should check motherboard for any issue and so I am using this http://www.9mart.com/9dollar/Budget/EG0537-1-PC-PCI-MOTHERBOARD-ANALYZER.jpg PCI POST card to check my D945GCNL Intel motherboard .

these are the scenarios I m facing .

1) no bootable disk (disconnecting hard disk and cd-rom):--

a) I get code 68 68

b) also message on screen bootable device not detected.

2)Only CD-ROM with a bootable cd (Hiren 15.2 ):--

a) I get code 00 00

b)when I run MemTest86+ system restarts

c) I can run others tests like processor benchmark and Bios Info.

3) Only Hard disk with Win 7 installed:--

first 00-00 and after windows's welcome screen appears it turns to 01 01 and then system restarts after working normally for some time.

I did reset BIOS and I did try to run Memtest86 but my system restarts before the test finishes I did another test on RAM with different software it shows no problem.

Yes, This interrupt attempts to load the sector at head 0, track 0, sector 1, on the first diskette into memory at 0:7C00h. If unable, it then attempts to load the sector at head 0, track 0, sector 1 of the first hard disk. If it is unable to load from either the diskette or the fixed disk, it calls INT 18h, which calls the ROM BASIC.

Actually I once again gave it a try and my windows did load up [still the card was showing 01 01 code (INt 19)] and I was able to work on it for while. I am not sure if this was only for one time.I m gonna try again and work on windows and run some more tests and see if I can pin point the issue. Thanks for the help EasyLover
