Second Laptop is

ASUS ROG G750JH-DB71 17.3-Inch Laptop

24 GB DDR3; HD Version
128GB SSD * 2 + 1TB 5400 RPM HDD
17.3-Inch Screen, Nvidia GTX780M 4GB GDDR5
Windows 8, 3.5-hour battery life

Price 2209 usd

Money is not really and issue although at almost 1600 usd cheaper it does have me thinking. What I really want out of my new lap top is something that will play any game current, old and not even out yet for it least the next 2 years at max settings. Mobility is a big issue for me being as I take my computer with me all the time. Also I already have a gaming desktop at home.
I know I would get a lot more bang for my buck with the origin SLX being as it has the 2 gpu's in sli, something I wish the asus rog had. However with the extended batter life the lighter weight and to be honest the all around better look of the asus rog and price factoring in I can't make up my mind. Any advice would be great thanks guys.

Function over style. It's nice when you can have both but if you can get the laptop with sli and you want to max out games over the next 2 years the eon is your best bet between these two choices. That said, most games are designed to push $1500-$10,000.00 desktop gaming rigs so keep that in mind as in 2 years Crysis 4 or 5 or whatever is not likely to be able to be maxed out on some desktops let alone a laptop but for the most part you'll be closer to it with the sli laptop. The Asus is a sexy looking laptop I agree but it simply won't compete with the eon; there's a reason it's $1600 more!
Since you are in the market for the best gaming laptop, I would consider this too...

It's very customizable and I think it grades better than eon but not quite as sexy as the asus in terms of looks but does have sli like the eon and is better priced giving you a decent alternative to consider if you haven't already.

Based on what you want it to be able to do and money not really being an issue, for you it sounds absolutely worth it! Hope this helps! Have fun!

Thanks,
