E8400 temp sensor is dead?

You can see the one of the cores are -27°C

I have tried difference programs like HWmonitor and real temp and they showing the same like core temp one of the cores are -27°C or -26°C
I have replace the thermal grease with this

Do you think the temp sensor is dead?

does it report correctly in your bios? if it's broken also there it could be a dead sensor.

temp in BIOS is 105°C - 104°C

either the cooler isn't seated properly on the cpu and it does reach 104-5 or the sensor isn't working ok. i suspect it's the sensor since you have that -27 in coretemp.

I bought new cooler and now its 40°C on prime95
