Asus Gtx650 With 365watt Psu

Solution

Depends what you do with this build?

OK so you do not know what PSU that HP has.

Post a photo or the specs of the sticker on the side of the PSU and then I can give you a more precise answer.

Best thing to do is build new pc. Sell out old and build new. New are cheap and fast.

Works. No need for bigger psu.

Measured power consumption

System in IDLE = 134 W
System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 194 W
Difference (GPU load) = 60 W
Add average IDLE wattage ~5W
Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 65 Watts

The GTX650 is a waste of money.

Depending on the PSU model and the rest of your system, you can run an HD7750 which is cheaper and slightly better AND uses less power.

Then again it truly depends on the exact PSU model you are running????

Why does no one bother to ask this anymore?
AxlFone? ahmeday2012? nashdes001?
