Alright guys, Throwing a new comp together and just ordered a few things and am wondering if the power supply I'm looking at will be able to run it all. Specs of this build are:

8350 4.0 8-core
G.Skill Ripjaws 8 gigs 4x2
Gigabyte 780 Windforce OC
Gigabyte 990fx Motherboard.

And of course it has a single Hard drive for now. 4 other fans in the case, One 200mm and three 120mm's. And I'm really debating on buying a Corsair CX 750 watt power supply. And am really hoping it will get me by. I don't really plan on doing any more OCing in the near future.

Its still a low cost unit. There are VERY few people that review PSUs properly.

If you see this tiered list. High end system tend to need those Tier 2a and b list. ESPECIALLY if you expect to overclock.

For any sort of high en system I ALWAYS suggest staying away from low cost units like the CX series.

You would be better off getting something with LESS wattage that is more stable and of higher quality.

A reliable 600W PSU is more than enough for the system you have in mind. Good option in that wattage bracket is the Antec HGC 620 or XFX 650 PRO or Seasonic m12ii 620.

I realize the old saying of you get what you pay for. But it seems like almost all the reviewers have nothing but great things to say. Just wanted a more forward approach for reviews in a sense lol.
