I have a $750 budget for a gaming PC but am willing to raise the price a couple hundred dollars if it means I can play what I want to play. I would like to play game like Fallout and Skyrim on ultra settings. Minecraft with Sonic Ethers Unbelivable shaders mod on ultra. And Arma III on high to ultra. I will be playing on a 1080p monitor. Thank you! Not including a operating system but on that note, windows 7 ultimate or windows 8.1 pro for gaming?

Its more than 750$ but its not 100$ more so i think it should be OK. This rig will do what you want at a good price. I will suggest windows 7 home premium (ain't nobody need ultimate) just because windows 8.1 has problems running some games. Windows 8.1 is newer meaning that you will be able to run the operating system for longer until microsoft stops supporting it. Windows 7 is still the best and most reliable.

I'm not sure if you saw this or if it doesn't matter but this build gives me this message "Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs."
