Solution
32-bit vs. 64-bit only affects your primary RAM; 32-bit Windows doesn't care if you have a 128MB GPU, a 2GB GPU, or even four 4GB GPUs.

The biggest question is what resolution you'll be using on your monitor, especially for watching videos or gameplay. If you're watching at 720p (1440x720) to 1600x900 or lower, then a 1GB GPU will be more than fine. If you're looking at 1080i (1920x1080) or higher resolutions, then a 2GB GPU should be more than sufficient.
