I bought an AMD Athlon II X4 750K with an asrock a88x extreme 6+ motherboard and g skill sniper 2x4gb ram. I was testing the build before buying a gpu and I don't hear any beeps notifying me of a missing gpu. I know a gpu is required for the processor but I'd like to know if I should be able to hear any beeps without a gpu installed.

Just in case someone comes to this thread and is still wondering the answer, I've finally solved the problem! I took my pc to a shop to have them put a gpu in to see if it will beep or post. It posted just fine with images on the screen. Still no beeps at all which nobody understood but as long as its working, i'm more than relieved!
