First, if this is going to be a gaming rig, there is no need for an i7, get the i5 4670K instead. Second, there is no discrete GPU listed, you won't be playing much of anything if you are depending on the CPU's integrated graphics. Third, 16 GB RAM is overkill for gaming, 8 GB RAM will do you just fine. Fourth, the PSU will probably need to be larger if you get a discrtet video card and plan on overclocking. Fifth, if that is the asking price for what you have listed, NO, it is not a good deal IMHO.

Thanks for the fast reply :) . Would the GTX 780 be a good choice of graphic card? Also have upped the PSU to 650w

The GTX 780 is a good card, but what you need to consider is the size/dimensions of your case in order to determine what will and won't fit. If you can tell us what case you are planning to use or what the dimensions are for where the case must fit, we can provide better answers/suggestions.

I'm using www.PCSPECIALIST.co.uk for the build. This is the case that will fit where I need it to-

BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX Case (Black)

Dimensions 404mm x 250mm x 340mm (Approx H x W x D)

Thanks.

Building your own is relatively easy, especially with all the guides and videos available on the internet. Just remember to take your time and thinks things through and you should have little to no difficulty. Are you going to be needing a keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, headphones OS in e=what I am assuming to be a 1500 budget?
