Bent Pins in LGA 1150 Socket? :(

I tried inserting a CPU (i5-4670K LGA1150) into my new motherboard (ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO) following the instructions exactly. The base of the CPU is flat; when I lowered the CPU retention bracket lever it looks like it bent all the pins(see attached pics).

Do these pins look bent or do all LGA 1150 pins come angled like that?

The CPU was perfectly aligned and lowered vertically on the socket with both latches on the socket fit into the side notches / latches on the CPU; but when I checked the stability before closing the retention, it seemed to move a tiny tiny amount in the socket. I tried re-seating a couple times to make sure but since the side notches were aligned perfectly and it was level I figured it was ok.

Please help!

Yes.
The bend in the pins is uniform and normal. Put the CPU back in and the cooler on and some RAM in the motherboard. Attach the case connections to the motherboard, attach a monitor if the board has a video out and attach the psu to the motherboard. Then see if you can get to the BIOS.
