Hey folks.
Time to put my old screen to retirement and time to start looking new one.
I am looking for 2560x1440 monitor for gaming. Any suggestions are highly appreciated and looked upon.
I am not asking for prices. I am asking for good monitor, with rich colors and good image.

I have been looking at TN panels and can't say i am impressed, what there is on market currently.

Maybe there's new ones coming out i am not aware of?
Maybe you have some specific monitor you would like to suggest for me?

NOTE: I have looked at those cheap Korean monitors, they are absolutely out of question.

I generally prefer IPS panel monitors. PLS panel monitors are relatively and did not exist when I was going on a shopping spree for LCD monitors between 2007 and 2009; one each year.

I have not really followed LCD monitors since the end of 2009 so I am not sure which are consider the best for your needs. However, I can at least provide you with some review sites to help you narrow down your search.

Thanks for a good links, they gave me some insight.
Asus RoG Swift PG278Q looks interesting, but it's not out yet
And it's a TN panel so... still hanging here.

I found 1 quite interesting monitor from Asus. ASUS PB278Q has a PLS panel. 1440p, 5ms gtg, which has always been perfect, even in fast phased FPS games and VERY good look with matte bezel.

If anyone has owned or still owns 1 of these ASUS PB278Q monitors, i would love to hear what they think about it personally.
