Just got a new PNY 770 and the clock speed is supposed to be at 1059 with a boost of 1111. But afterburner is showing it at 540 while playing BF4. Im wondering if its my mobo being pci-e 2.0 Any info would help.

Mobo: gigabyte 970a-d3
psu: antec 750W 80+bronze
cpu: phenom ii 960t (unlocked to 1600T) @3.52

I would say that the reason your clock speed is showing so low is because your GPU doesn't need to run at full clock to render BF4 properly. Maybe if you get a bench marking test for your GPU you will be able to find out if your GPU will only get to 540mhz.

Thanks for the reply.
I will check that out and let u know when im back at home on my gaming pc later this evening.

Well I just ran a game of bf4 with afterburner and TechPowerUp gpu-z open. TPU shows my clocks running @1175 MHz during game play while afterburner still shows it @540 MHz. The temps during game are around 60-65 C on both programs with gpu load between 70-99%. Not sure why the clocks are show different.
