So for the past 5-6 month my PC has a small phase. Randomly, all my cores will be on 100% load and the temperatures are over 105 degrees. When I run Prime95 max temperature I get is 51 degrees. I don't know whats happened but I suspect its something on my PC causing this. I look in task manager and not on task is running at 100% and I don't know whats causing it.

More about : cpu 100 degrees

viruses etc could cause that but not explain why your temps are soaring twice as high as in prime 95. maybe your fan is failing

It won't be my fan because like I said, I do Prime95 test and the temperatures are normal. I have tried a different fan and the exact same issue persists.

hmm what program are you using to monitor, at 100c your computer should shut off which may mean its the program or your temp sensors messed up.

I'm using CoreTemp and no because my whole computer becomes awfully slow, I can't do anything.
